We often have requests to cast individual or unique castings from a wide range of clients. We make every effort to accommodate these requests and many of the items or requests have been unusual.
So here are a few quick examples:

And the most unique of all.
I am sure most of us have either seen photos or films of the old diving suits worn by divers before the invention of the modern aqua lung by Jaques Cousteau. These were very heavy and cumbersome for the divers with their lead weighted boots, heavy helmets and the associated hoses.
Well, we had a visit from client who wanted to know if we could cast the control wheel which fitted to the sides of the cabinet to which the diver's hoses were attached. He had in his possession the cabinet and the suit, but the wheels were missing.

However .................................. he did have a pattern we could work from!!!!!!

And so we set about the process of casting. And yes - it took some doing as each wheel took approx 75kg of brass each! And there were two to be done!!!!
So here is the first wheel as cast - now it just has to be fettled and polished.

And finally, they were polished and ready to be collected and installed.

Church Weather Vane
England has some historic churches with the most beutiful and varied weather vanes - if we look upwards that is!!!!
We had one brought to us which had fallen off and broken - but all the parts were carefully gathered together in the hope that a new one could be made - and of course we were very pleased to comply with this request. And this is the finished product.
